Alright everyone back at it again first NHL Friday of the year. 5 games tonight to taste some action on so lets jump in.
Bruins @ Jets - Under 5.5 goals +105
The Bruins are coming off a home opening 3-0 win against fellow original 6 rivals, The New York Rangers. 3-0 sounds good, but the Bruins couldn't leak a drop until the dying minutes of the third period when they popped off for 3 goals in a minute and fifteen seconds to seal the game. Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman pitched a shutout on opening night always a good sign for the under.

Rangers @ Red Wings - Pavel Dorofeyev over 0.5 goals +180
The newest flashy Broadway summer signing is off a decent second game as a Ranger. In Thursdays 5-1 win over Tampa, Dorofeyev posted a goal and a assist for his first 2 points as a Ranger. Simply put, the man loves to shoot the puck. Always a threat off the rush 5 on 5, but even more lethal on the powerplay with his shot. He is the Rangers go-to option, now that he's broken the ice look for him to keep it going against a struggling Red Wings team.

Capitals @ Hurricanes - under 6.5 goals -134
This game will be a rock fight. The Hurricanes under head coach, Rod Brindamour have been the leagues most stout defensive team. They don't score a ton of goals, but they give up even less. The Capitals are an older roster playing out the Alex Ovechkin string as long as they can. Low scoring divisional battle.
Blues @ Stars - Roope Hintz over 0.5 points -158
Roope Hintz is generally not the first name you think of when you mention the Dallas Stars, but the man is the straw that stirs the drink. Being a set up man for the likes of Rantanen, Seguin, Wyatt Johnson, and Thomas Harley has its benefits.
Roope finally appears to be healthy and ready to play a full season, last year he only played 53 games with injury. Fully rested and healthy Roope picks up a point or two in his first game back.

Ducks @ Golden Knights - over 6.5 goals -125
Both of these teams are loaded with offensive talent both in their forward groups and defense groups but lack in the goaltending department. Easy over.
